How do I make an insurance claim?

All EV Subscriptions come with comprehensive insurance. It's important to lodge a claim if you've been involved in an accident.

  1. Safety First: 
    Make sure you and any passengers are safe, and call 000 if there is any danger to you or others. 
  2. Evidence ready to go: 
    If third parties are involved, ensure you have all relevant documentation ready to go before lodging the claim - third party license number, registration of anyone involved & contact details and images of vehicle damage, location and information about surrounding areas. The more evidence the more robust your case and easier the process. 
  3. Lodge the claim:
    Call the 24/7 number 1800 817 683
    You’ll need your registration number handy. Please confirm that you're an AGL customer.
  4. Claim assessment: 
    Your claim will be assessed you may be provided you with a list of authorised repairers to contact. Alternatively, you may be issued a replacement vehicle as needed or the insurance company will book the car in for you. 
  5. Excess will be invoiced via AGL: 
    The excess will be charged to you from AGL per claim. We will not be able to issue a replacement vehicle until an excess has been paid.
