How do I make an insurance claim?

All EV Subscriptions come with comprehensive insurance. It's important to lodge a claim if you've been involved in an accident.

  1. Safety First: Make sure you and any passengers are safe, and call 000 if there is any danger to you or others. 
  2. Let us know: Complete this online form capturing as many details as you can. You can also book in a call to inform us of what has happened. We will guide you through the next steps.
  3. Evidence ready to go: If third parties are involved, ensure you have all relevant documentation ready to go before lodging the claim - third party license number, registration of anyone involved & contact details and images of vehicle damage, location and information about surrounding areas. The more evidence the more robust your case and easier the process. 
  4. Lodge the claim: In some cases you will need to lodge the claim directly with the insurer and in others, we will lodge the claim for you. We will help provide you with the right number and steps to follow after you'd informed us of the accident. 
  5. Claim assessment: Your claim will be assessed you may be provided you with a list of authorised repairers to contact. Alternatively, you may be issued a replacement vehicle as needed or the insurance company will book the car in for you. 
  6. Excess will be invoiced via AGL: The excess will be charged to you from AGL per claim. We will not be able to issue a replacement vehicle until an excess has been paid.
