At the end of your plan, you can extend your subscription or simply return the car.
Extend your subscription
You don’t need to do anything to extend your 6 or 12 month plan. If we don’t hear from you before your plan ends, you'll automatically roll over to a month to month plan at your existing rate.
Your subscription will continue until you cancel it (with at least 30 days' notice), or you’ve held the subscription for 18 months. We’ll reach out to you with a new contract you can sign if you’d like to keep your subscription past the 18 month mark.
Cancel your subscription
To cancel any plan, contact us at least 30 days before you want your plan to end.
Before you cancel, make sure you check the full details the EV Subscription Terms.
- Cancel at the end of your plan
If you want your plan to end at the end of your 6 or 12 month term, contact us and give us at least 30 days' notice. If we don’t hear from you, you’ll automatically roll over to a month to month plan at your existing rate.
Your subscription will continue until you cancel it (with at least 30 days' notice).
- Cancel early
If you want to cancel your 6 or 12 month plan early, you’ll need to contact us to give at least 30 days' notice and pay an early termination fee.
To find out how much the termination fee will be, go to the car selection page, choose your model, and scroll down to the plans.
- Cancel a 30-day plan
Your 30-day plan will automatically renew until you contact us to cancel it. There are no termination fees for cancelling, but you’ll still need to give us at least 30 days' notice.
After you return your car
When you cancel, we’ll let you know when, where, and how to return your EV.
When you return your EV it needs to:
-
be in the same condition as at the start of your subscription (except for fair wear and tear)
-
be clean
-
have its keys or keyless start devices, and all of the parts and accessories you received it with, and
-
have greater than 90% charge.
Before you return it, make sure you check the full list of obligations in the EV Subscription Terms.
Inspection and condition report
Once you’ve returned your EV, we’ll organise an inspection to assess its condition.
AGL uses an independent party to perform these inspections. They inspect the interior and exterior of the car, and evaluate it using the criteria in the Fair wear and tear guidelines.
After the inspection, they write a condition and appraisal report for the vehicle and share it with AGL. If the car needs any repairs beyond what’s considered fair wear and tear, you will be responsible for the costs. If that’s the case, AGL will get in touch with the details.
