      What is a Type 2 to Type 2 cable

      An EV charging cable that has a type 2 plug at each end, enabling it to connect a vehicle to a charger.

      A type 2 to type 2 cable can be useful to leave in your car to use at public charging stations or at home, if your home charger isn't tethered.
      A tethered charger has a cable that is permanently attached to the charging station.
