What is a salary packaged EV Subscription?

What is it?
A salary packaged EV Subscription is an agreement between you, your employer and AGL that enables you to subscribe to an electric vehicle and pay for it with pre-tax income.

How does it work?
This is done by transferring the obligation for payment of the monthly subscription costs from you to your employer through a novation agreement. AGL will invoice your employer, who will pay us directly and then make deductions from your pre-tax salary via payroll. This is why this is called salary packaging.

Who's responsible?
While the obligation to arrange payments is with your employer, all other responsibilities under the subscription agreement remains with you. If you leave your employer during your subscription period, you will need to either transfer to your new employer (subject to their agreement), pay with post-tax income or hand the car back.
