Charging options at home
Yes! There are a few ways to do this:
The most basic way is to plug your electric car into a standard power point with a Level 1 charging cable. This will give you about 10-20km of charge per hour. Which isn't much but will take care of your daily commute.
For a faster charge, you'll need a Level 2 charger. These are units that are installed at your home and provide around 40kms of range per hour charged. Installation must be completed by a qualified electrician.
With AGL, you can choose to add a Level 2 home charging station to your EV subscription and the cost will simply be added to your rental. Or, you can purchase a charger of your choice from our online home charger store.
