Chargers are serious pieces of equipment that need to be installed by qualified electricians. In saying that, it’s a routine job and can be completed in a few hours.
Note that installation is only provided for chargers either purchased through AGL or from BMW/MINI.

There are a number of requirements that need to be met to be eligible for a home charger.
Requirements:
Apartment installations are possible but can be complicated. You'll need permission from your body corporate, and advice from an electrician based on your body corporate's requirements. As most people expect the charging to be "user pays", a key issue is usually getting the power to your place of parking from wherever it is metered for your property/bill.

Standard installation:
Installation of a 7 KW / 32 AMP Single Phase EV Wall Charger. (Maximum Demand/Current setting to be determined on site).
Dedicated circuit approximately 15 Meters of wall/ceiling mounted cable. (Inc conduit)
Single phase isolation switch mounted readily accessible to the EV Wall Charger.
All associated electrical containment and hardware fixings for the installation.
Installation of electrical circuit protection in switchboard.
Installation as per AS/NZS 3000:2018 Electrical Installation Wiring Rules.
Installation of a communications device the specifics of which will be determined on site (Preference 1: Ethernet cable, Preference 2: EoP).
